Phil grew up in a missionary family and committed his life to Christ as a teenager after he observed the contagious joy and peace of a friend. He wanted to experience this same joy, and through gospel-centered conversations with his parents, he came to put his faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Phil has attended ECBC for the past 5 years and serves as a Community Group Leader and on the Worship Team. In his free time, he enjoys adventures with his family, backpacking, and musical composition.
