Position Summary
Create and execute a written development plan to increase giving towards the church’s Legacy Fund and other giving campaigns (including but not limited to Palmetto Christian Academy (PCA)’s annual fund), as well as foster a culture of generosity among the church’s members both towards the tithe and “above and beyond” the tithe.  

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop, recommend, and execute (where applicable) strategies for fostering a culture of Biblical generosity and stewardship
  • Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with potential major donors, PCA alumni, church families, and PCA parents to help connect where God might be leading them to the opportunities that exist within the church and school
  • Organize and lead donor events and campaigns to increase awareness and involvement in the Legacy Fund
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for growing and sustaining the Legacy Fund including the establishment of measurable goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with the Baptist Foundation of South Carolina to ensure proper investment of the Legacy Fund
  • Lead the execution of all financial campaigns ensuring they are well-coordinated and successfully executed
  • Collaborate proactively with the communications department to plan direct mail, digital marketing, and other communication/marketing strategies to promote giving
  • Where appropriate, identify, seek, and manage other contribution streams (i.e., grants, sponsorships, etc.)

Position Summary 
The High School Ministry Associate will help lead the High School Ministry by assisting leadership, staff, and volunteers in a variety of ways. The position is split between administrative responsibilities and a personal ministry with students. The primary administrative responsibilities are event and retreat planning, oversight of the ministry’s finances, and communication to leaders, students, and parents. The associate’s personal ministry will be to high school girls and high school leaders and will involve relationship building, evangelism, and discipleship.

Position Description
The ECBC Nursery Department desires to hire Nursery Caregivers to help with various day and evening ministry events. The Nursery Caregiver is to provide care for the overall needs of each child in their classroom. The Nursery Caregiver is an hourly paid position.

Position Summary
East Cooper Baptist’s pastoral residency provides a unique opportunity for prospective pastors to gain supervised ministry experience and seminary credit in a full-time, local church setting.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Residents will serve in a variety of ministerial and administrative capacities under the supervision of ECBC’s pastoral staff.
  • Residents will participate in a weekly preaching lab, where they will give live teaching, receive immediate feedback, and study the essentials of teaching and preaching in a practical format.
  • Residents will complete a variety of specific pastoral experiences, such as hospital visitation, preaching and teaching, and discipleship of church members.
  • Residents will take in person classes on pastoral ministry and preaching hosted at ECBC with the option for seminary credit.
  • Position is full time for August-May.

  • Assess equipment and transportation needs and work with Athletic Director to fill those.

  • Lead the program in a manner that reflects respect for referees, opponents, and fans.
  • Check and secure all office, storage room, outside doors, locker rooms and all lights after last player leaves after games and practices.
  • Hold informational parent meeting at the beginning of each season.
  • Work with Varsity Girls Basketball coach to ensure a seamless transition between teams.

  • Must be able to articulate a Christian worldview and philosophy of Kingdom education.
  • Able to implement policy and procedures of the Athletic Department and school.

Position Summary
Palmetto Christian Academy is seeking a Head Coach for Varsity Boys Soccer. We are looking for a coach to develop a program that will consistently compete for state championships while being a solid Christian role model for our boys. The candidate will have at least one year of head coaching experience at the high school level. The preferred candidate will have at least 2 years of head coaching experience at the high school level at a Christian school.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Mentor our young men in a positive manner, pointing them to Christ in all areas.
  • Conduct fair and impartial tryouts and practices.
  • Maintain efficient communication with parents.
  • Assess equipment and transportation needs and work with Athletic Director to fill those.
  • Assist the Athletic Director with scheduling.
  • Lead the program in a manner that reflects respect for referees, opponents, and fans.
