Position Summary
The graphic designer is responsible for partnering with the Communications Team to produce ministry deliverables that communicate content creatively and clearly, using both printed and digital mediums.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Communications Team on creative projects, bringing new and fresh design ideas to fruition.
  • Design and layout print and digital material for designated requests and projects from our ministry leaders.
  • Be able to accomplish project assignments with excellence in a timely manner.
  • Provide input in various phases of the design process.
  • Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using Adobe software or by hand.
  • Able to help with weekly communications responsibilities such as folding bulletin, setting out signage, and sending emails.

This intern would help the Communications Team by creating layouts and images for events and ministries.

Position Summary

The High School Ministry Director oversees the High School Ministry. This position is responsible for leading the High School Ministry through the mentoring and discipleship of students, logistical planning for events, and providing financial oversight for the ministry’s budget.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversight of all High School Ministry events
  • Partnering with parents to help their students grow in Christlikeness
  • Providing regular teaching in the HSM class and other large-group events
  • Coordinating discipleship groups for the HSM
  • Identifying and training volunteers for the HSM

Position Summary
This position assists the pastoral staff with the administrative aspects of their ministries. The administrative aspects of these ministries include managing budgets, assisting in the planning and execution of small and large scale events, communicating with church members and leaders within their ministries, and assisting in the creation of ideas and goals for each ministry. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage several ministry budgets simultaneously including reconciling reports, filing receipts, and submitting for reimbursement and/or invoicing
  • Plan, manage, and support large scale events, retreats, and conferences; both on and off campus
  • Plan, manage, and support weekly gatherings and classes
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with pastors, teachers, volunteers, congregation members, and coworkers
  • Assist pastors with long range planning such as room reservations, calendar submissions, and making necessary support ministry requests
  • Support pastors in daily, weekly, and monthly tasks both ministry and professionally related
  • Support other ministry areas when requested and time is available

Position Summary
The Missions Director at East Cooper Baptist Church is responsible for planning and managing mission initiatives. The Missions Director must be able to work independently to plan, organize, execute, and otherwise superintend their responsibilities while keeping the supervisor informed. The Missions Director can best oversee the ministries and their lead volunteers by being available, organized, working excellently with other departments, and in possessing good interpersonal problem-solving skills. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop Local Outreach serving opportunities and facilitate the filling of those opportunities by ECBC members/attendees.
  • Maintain regular contact with partner organizations and ensure alignment with ECBC.
  • Coordinate with the Missions Committee and pastoral staff on planning the Global Impact Conference and promoting the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.
  • Work with the pastoral staff to secure short-term trip details, train and prepare volunteers, and support them throughout the trip.
  • Participate in at least one short-term mission trip annually.

Job Title: Private Music Lessons Educator

Position Summary
The Private Music Lessons Educators would teach one-on-one lessons for musical instruments or voice based on the teacher’s qualifications and the amount of interest from our ECAA families. Instruments would include (but not be limited to) piano, guitar, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, percussion, drum set, violin, cello.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Private instructors will plan one-on-one lessons each week during the fall and spring semesters.
  • Private instructors will teach good practice skills.
  • Private instructors will help prepare students for their concerts if they are involved in a band, choir, or strings program at their school.
  • Private instructors will help prepare students for audition.
  • A recital may be held once a year to showcase the students.

Job Title: Middle School Math Teacher

Position Summary
Palmetto Christian Academy is seeking a full-time Middle School (grades 7-8) Math teacher who can teach courses with a distinctly Biblical worldview integrated throughout the curriculum and instruction. The candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in mathematics or secondary math education. The preferred candidate will possess an ACSI or South Carolina teaching certificate and have 1-3 year of teaching experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Planning, creating and implementing math lessons that promote an engaging, positive and interactive learning environment.
  • Prepare, administer and evaluate tests and classroom assignments following curriculum guidelines
  • Work closely with Upper School Instructional Coach to deliver approved curriculum
  • Work closely with Upper School Instructional Coach to review textbooks
  • Perform administrative duties under the direction of the Upper School Principal to include grading, discipline, attendance, dress code management, lunch/hall/dismissal supervision

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in math or secondary math education from an
    accredited university. The preferred candidate will possess 1-3 years of experience in
    teaching math to middle school students, preferably in a Christian School environment.
  • Be willing to work toward an ACSI teacher certification.
  • Must have a credible profession of faith and testimony, and be actively involved in a local church, as this person will serve as a role model in attitude, speech, and actions for the school community.
  • Must be able to articulate his/her Christian worldview and philosophy of Kingdom
    education.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of English language concepts.
  • Able to implement policy and procedures of the math department and school.
  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must attend faculty meetings, professional development seminars, and devotions.
