East Cooper Kids Ministry exists to help families fulfill their calling to teach and train their children to treasure Jesus.
Every Sunday morning, we provide a safe, age-appropriate environment for your kids where the Bible is taught in engaging and creative ways! We aim to create opportunities for kids to learn to treasure Jesus more! We champion parents as the primary disciplers of their children, and are honored to walk alongside you.
Families will need to park in the Family Parking (enter through the second entrance).- For birth-K5 kids, check-in is downstairs.
- For grades 1st-5th, check-in is upstairs.
- Please see a greeter at the kiosk to check you in and obtain your tags.

Any church member interested in having their child dedicated on a Sunday morning will first need to attend a Parent Commissioning Class. We will be offering this class quarterly on Sunday mornings during our worship hours!
Our nursery is designed to provide a welcoming, loving and safe environment for God’s youngest blessings. We believe that a gentle and nurturing space is crucial to a child’s first stages of development.
The leaders in our nursery serve as nurturing caregivers and enjoy loving your children and teaching them the very first basics of the Bible and Prayer!
The nursery rooms are for children 24 months and under, and are divided by age and ability.
New Baby Room (under 12 months, pre-crawlers)
Busy Crawlers (approximately 11 - 15 months)
Early Walkers (approximately 13 - 18 months)
Toddlers (approximately 19 - 24 months)
Our preschool ministry area provides an inviting atmosphere that encourages a sense of fun and discovery for our three to five year olds! Our preschool and K-5 children attend Jr. Kids Church in a dynamic group setting where we teach the Bible and enjoy games, music and worship. Children also have time in age-level classrooms with trained leaders who help children apply the Bible to their daily lives.
Snacks: Our preschoolers enjoy a snack in their classroom each week. We typically provide Cheez-Its or Nilla Wafers. If your child is gluten free, please send a snack with him/her.
Sick Policy: Please do not bring your child to church if they have been sick (fever, cold, nausea) within the last 24 hours. Keeping germs away from our building is the best way to prevent spreading illness.
Families with kids in grades 1st-5th are encouraged to worship together as a family at the 9:30am service. At the 11:00am service, we are excited to welcome your kids to the upstairs A-Hallway. Our kids’ spaces are divided into grades 1st-3rd and grades 4th-5th. Kids start out in Kids Church (1st-3rd) or CrossWalk (4th-5th) where they enjoy dynamic, fun, age-appropriate Bible teaching, worship and games. Then the kids separate into gender-specific, grade-level classes for small group discussion time.
