Dean is from Auburn, AL. He surrendered his life to Jesus when he was eleven years old after the knowledge of Jesus he had learned over the years from his parents and church became real to him. He joined the ECBC staff in 1988. Dean is married to Charla and they have six children. He enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and listening to audio books.
